I had the pleasure of hanging out with Amy and Trevor this afternoon while we shot their engagement photos. Amy contacted me through Carey Nash, a very talented photographer in Edmonton (my old home). These two give referrals and trust a whole new meaning as Amy booked me over the phone with only my web portfolio and friend recommendation to go make a decision from. Hailing from Taber, and a fierce Saskatchewan Roughriders fan – we had fun shooting with rival jerseys, I’m sure those frames will cause a bit of a stir for the local hardcore football fans!
The wind was ferocious today, so we cancelled our outdoor session with their dogs (stay tuned for those when the weather cooperates), and went indoors. Both Amy and Trevor were extremely easy to photograph, and were naturals when it came to posing – I had to do very little work with them, and they are both quite photogenic – a photographer’s dream!
With Brien G. assisting and filling in the available light – the photos turned out great. I look forward to seeing them again in July for their wedding in Waterton. It’s going to be a blast I’m sure if today was any indication!
