Thank you. There is very little postwork to this image. It’s a mix of ambient light (subject right, church window), and a beauty dish camera right. The blur you see is introduced from a Canon tilt/shift lens, shot from the floor level.

Awesome composition and use of light. Did you use a gaussian blur for the D.O.F around the player or did that happen naturally?

Its great to know the journey people take to get to their final product. I believe firmly that great photography has a meaning, whether the audience is able to figure out the meaning is another thing. The first shot on the page is clear, understandable, and esy to decipher. That particuarly is what I enjoy about it. I am not sure if a wire bra seems out of place or puts the shot in a modern context.
